Aniel is a PhD Student at the School of Architecture of McGill University in Montreal. He obtained his previous degrees at the Venice School of Architecture. Aniel has had a long interest in the emergence of Art Nouveau and the cultural history of Belgium at the end of the nineteenth century. His current doctoral research is focused on Victor Horta’s Hôtel Tassel in Brussels, in particular, the origins and meaning of its interior decoration
