Professor and Director of the School of Architecture at McGill University
Martin Bressani is Professor and Associate Director at McGill University’s School of Architecture. He held visiting professorships at MIT, Cornell, Syracuse Universities and was a fellow at the Study Centre of the Canadian Centre of Architecture in 2003. He is the author of a biographical study on French architect and theoretician Eugéne-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc titled Architecture and the Historical Imagination: Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc (Ashgate, 2004) and has published in many of the topical forums for architectural debates, contributed essays to many books as well as publishing in scholarly journals.
